Your data

Delete your Mokii account.

Mokii is made by Telaron Labs. You can delete your account and personal data yourself, in the app, at any time.

How to delete your account

In the Mokii app

  1. Open Mokii and tap Manage.
  2. Tap Account and settings.
  3. Tap Close account (“Delete your account and personal data”).
  4. Read what will be deleted and what stays, type DELETE and confirm.

By email

If you can't open the app, email[email protected] from the email address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We'll reply within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in: your account, credentials and every session.
  • Your membership of every household you belong to, and your place on its alert ladders.
  • The phones you've signed in on, so no notification reaches them.
  • Your mobile number, if you added one, and your notification preferences.
  • Your location check-ins and your last known location.
  • Invites you sent that nobody has accepted yet.
  • A household that nobody else can run, together with its pets, zones, alert ladders, contacts, schedules and activity history. This happens when you are the last member, or when you own it and only circle members (people who are watched, not responsible for alerts) remain.

What is kept, and for how long

  • A household others still belong to. If you co-own or own a household with other members who can run it, it carries on for them. Ownership passes to the longest-standing co-owner, and a note that you left stays in its activity history until that history expires (30 days).
  • Alert records and delivery receipts (which text or call went to whom, and whether it arrived): kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically, even after your account is gone.
  • Crash reports. Mokii uses Firebase Crashlytics, which holds crash and diagnostic data (device model, operating system, app version, stack trace) under Firebase's own retention period, then deletes it. It contains no location, messages or contacts.
  • A refusal record. If someone you added as a contact once replied STOP, we keep a one-way fingerprint of their number so nobody contacts them again. It isn't linked to your account.

Deletion can't be undone. For the full picture of what Mokii collects, see the Privacy Policy.
